- Prices come from the retailer's own product feed, supplied through Awin, and are for one tyre. The retailer's page has the final price, VAT and delivery, and any fitting charge: check them before you order. Tyres on this list are in stock when we last checked.
- The EU tyre label grades are the retailer's figures: fuel efficiency and wet grip from A (best) to G, and the noise the tyre makes in decibels. A better label usually costs more, and the label doesn't say how long a tyre lasts. Wet grip is the one that matters most for stopping distances.
- The legal minimum tread depth in Great Britain is 1.6 mm across the central three quarters of the tyre. Fit tyres of the same size and type on the same axle. Your car's handbook says which speed rating and load index it needs: don't go below them.
- Worn tyres are a common reason for an MOT failure. See MOT pass rates for your car, and the car running costs tool.
